Balayage Highlighting Is a Rage: Aishwarya Rai to Isha Ambani Wedding

Balayage Haircolor Technique.

Lighten things up with a Balayage haircolor technique . The Balayage trend's name comes from the French term "to sweep," and can be applied to any natural or processed haircolor. Think soft, subtle hints of blonde color placement on a slightly darker shade of hair.

Balayage in French means 'to sweep' or 'to paint'. It allows for a sun-kissed natural-looking hair colour. Lets get to know about this hair colour technique that everyone is talking about!!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been flaunting this shade as Balayage Highlights for quite some time now. As she was seen in the movie - "Fanney Khan" Her hair colour is a mix of brown and burgundy shades, which is kind of similar to wine.

The latest hair colour worn by Aishwarya is inspired by a drink. Wine, which is mostly a seasonal beverage, just makes this hair colour trend a perfect pick for winters. The balayage colour trend made a way through the viral hashtag and now everyone seems to be obsessed with it. This hue is a mix of deep red, which is also kind of purple and has a hint of chocolate brown.

Heiress Isha Ambani, The only daughter of the richest man of India Mr. Mukesh Ambani was wedded to Anand Piramal of Piramal Pharma this December 2018.

Isha was seen flaunting her beautiful golden blonde balayage highlights during the wedding and it really suited her complexion whether she was wearing western or Indian. I was quite surprised because I got the similar colour highlights done a week ago her wedding!!

Wow, same pinch Isha!! Isn't she looking gorgeous? and so simple at the same time with balayage highlights.

Here is mine,

My hairdresser has used Loreal golden blonde balayage highlights over my natural hair colour, which is dark brown!!

How Long Does It Take?

Expect to be sitting in the chair for the painting for at least 2 hours. The processing of the color is much quicker than foil highlights because the dye is so much stronger. You will definitely be at the salon for a total of at least 90 minutes.

Balayage has softer, less noticeable regrowth lines than traditional highlights - the principal idea being less is more when creating soft, natural looks. There's no stripy look like you can get with foil highlights, Balayage emulates the parts of your hair that would naturally lighten in the sun.

Does it Covers Greys?

Highlighting to Cover Grays. Gray hair can wash out your skin color, but you can add dimension and contrast without a full dye job. ... All-over color in just one hue is bland, whereas a mix of shades can appear much more natural. Balayage is a great highlighting technique that many women prefer for a natural look as well.

Balayage, or painted highlights, is becoming increasingly popular for its sun-kissed look. Roots are not touched in this technique, balayage allows for a more natural grow out, but it's less severe than going ombré. Plus, it's actually healthier for your hair.

Shilpa Shetty and Gauri Khan were also seen with golden blonde balayage highlights at the Isha Ambani Wedding!!

How Much Would It Cost?

Highlighting in an average Indian salon is INR 6000, so between INR 6000 and INR 8000 for a Balayage.

How To Pronounce it?

The preferred spelling: BALAYAGE and is pronounced: BAH-LEE-AHGE

"Balayage Hair is all the rage right now. From soft subtle brown tones to more dramatic caramel, you can add flair to your natural brunette color!!"
